US space agency NASA's Ingenuity Mars helicopter recorded a rare 3D view of a rock-covered mound on the surface of Mars. The Mars rover team calls this geologic place 'Falefeu'. The 3D image was taken on September 4 during the 13th flight of the Ingenuity helicopter.

NASA said, 'About 33 feet (10 meters) wide, the mound is visible just north of the middle of the image. Some big rocks are casting a shadow. The space which is visible at the highest of the image is a component of 'Artubi'. it's a good ridgeline of over 900 meters.

The US space agency said that there are some waves of sand going vertically upwards within the lower a part of the image and within the middle, which shows the South Seitah region of Jezero Crater of Mars.

3D picture is additionally called anaglyph. it's best viewed with red-blue glasses. it's prepared by combining the information of two photographs. The Ingenuity Mars helicopter reached Mars via the Perseverance rover.
