Imagine you sleep and once you rouse you discover yourself outside the planet somewhere in space, just above the ocean. All around you'll be able to see colorful lights waving, during which green, red, white, yellow and lots of more colors are mixed. Seeing this sight, it seems as if someone has released the rainbow. For a flash you'll think this can be a dream but it's a true sight visible from the International Space Station over the ocean because it passes the beat of Asia and Antarctica.

This light is named aurora or Southern Light. it's formed thanks to the Earth's magnetic shield and solar winds. The International Space Station has shared pictures of this amazing sight on its official Instagram Page. the primary picture shows the solar panels of the ISS on the left, before of which the magnetic light may be seen. Green light is visible as thin lines.

These lines seem to be emanating from the surface of the world and disappear into space. These lines are literally charged particles coming from the Sun that hits the Earth's atmosphere. These colors are produced by the interaction of charged particles with the Earth's field.

The second photo shows a less curved rainbow whose initial colors are green and red. Smoke made up of colored lights is seen within the third picture. The sting of the aurora is seen within the last picture where the sunshine appears to dissolve and disappear.
