Dancing ghosts: 'Dancing ghosts' seen a billion light years away, how they were formed, why they got confused ... Many questions in front of scientists
Two 'Dancing ghosts' are seen in two galaxies a few billion light-years far from Earth. Researchers from Australia's National Science Agency CSIRO and Western Sydney University have actually discovered electron clouds emanating from the supermassive black holes at the middle of two galaxies. they're named PKS 2130-538 which are seen dancing because of the winds blowing within the Galaxy.
The team hopes that this discovery will help them understand the behavior of black holes and also the movement between two galaxies. Western Sydney University and CSIRO have told that seeing them first, they didn't understand what they were. After several weeks, two galaxies were seen.
At their center were huge black holes from which jets of electrons were emanating. Their shape was deteriorated by the winds blowing in these Galaxy. it's not yet understood why the 2 seem to be confused and why the radio wave is initiating. Scientists estimate that several observations are going to be needed to know this without delay.
They were discovered under the Evolutionary Map of the Universe (EMU) project, which detects radio sources in space with the assistance of the ASKAP telescope. The ASKAP telescope is operated by CSIRO itself and is a component of the Australia Telescope National Facility. It uses novel technology for top survey speed, making it one amongst the world's best instruments for mapping the sky at radio wavelengths.
