NASA shares stunning picture of center of 'Milky Way', magnetic threads creating brightly colored shapes

Galaxy Centre: America's space agency NASA shares pictures related to the Galaxy. This time he has shared a picture of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. In which many shiny threads are visible.

Centre of Milky Way Galaxy:
US space agency NASA has shared a picture of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Seeing which it looks like gas and magnetic threads are weaving a colorful design. This image has been prepared from data from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa. A lot of glowing colors are seen in the picture, which are carving a kind of shape with gas and energy.

This image shows the high ability of the Chandra X-ray Observatory to see how deep it can see. From this, the bottom and top of the Galaxy can be seen. The orange, green, blue and purple colors seen in the picture are telling about different X-ray energies. Light purple and gray colors are visible from the MeerKAT radio data. If you look at the picture carefully, the waves look like threads, one of them is such a thread, which is associated with both X-ray and radio emission. It is 20 light years long.

What did the Study Find?

The University of Massachusetts (University of Massachusetts) Q. Daniel Wang has done a study. Who says that all these are bound together by thin strips of magnetic field. Many such studies have been done before, in which this information was revealed. Such bands form when magnetic fields align in different directions, collide and twist around each other in a process called magnetic reconnection.

Responsible for Space Weather

This is similar to the phenomenon that moves energetic particles away from the Sun and is responsible for space weather, which sometimes affects the Earth (Milky Way Galaxy picture). A detailed study in this regard tells us space weather, which has been observed in the vicinity of the Galaxy. The reason behind this is also supernova explosions, explosions in the regions near the supermassive black holes of the galaxy and the release of hot gas from the collision of stars or other action.
