The US space agency NASA has caught the colorful light of a supernova that occurred thousands of years ago. this could provide new information about the evolution of cosmic remnants. NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory reported that the remnant of this star is understood as G344.7-0.1. it's located at a distance of about 19,600 light years from Earth. The explosion during this star is believed to own happened between 3,000 and 6,000 years ago.

Space.com reported that NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and Spitzer Space Telescope along with the National Science Foundation's Very Large Array and also the Australia Telescope Compact Array discovered the remains of this star through X-ray, infrared and radio wavelengths. The new image of G344.7-0.1 shows that this debris spread outward after the star exploded, but encountered resistance from the encircling gases.

This resistance of the gases slows down the movement of the debris, the statement said. This creates a reverse wave that travels back toward the middle of the explosion. In its path heats the encircling debris. This process is sort like Traffic Jam on a highway. Where, with the passage of your time, the amount of cars or other vehicles will increase and therefore the possibility of an accident will end. The reverse shock heats the debris to several degrees, causing it to glow in X-rays.

Supernovas are difficult to determine in our galaxy because they're often obscured by dust. NASA has been able to see this supernova because that they had been keeping an eye fixed on that since last year.
