There is a lot of potential for life on Mars. In such a situation, it is going to be a fun place for future tourists. When humans settle the first human colony on the Red Planet, then the number of tourists to visit here can also increase. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and this red planet is full of huge volcanoes, deep valleys and craters.
Valles Marineris is the largest canyon on Mars, which is about 3000 km long. It is almost four times longer than the Grand Canyon. It is a system of valleys, reaching a depth of 10 km. Wallace Marineris is named after Mariner 9, who discovered it in 1971.
People will also be able to visit the two poles of Mars. According to a study conducted by the Phoenix lander in 2008, the compositions of these two icy regions are slightly different. During winter the temperature here becomes very low.
According to NASA, Tharsis Montes is the largest volcanic region on Mars. It is spread for about 4000 km and its height is 10 km. There are 12 big volcanoes here. There are four largest volcanoes in the Tharsis region, namely Ascraeus Mons, Pavonis Mons, Arsia Mons and Olympus Mons.
Hale Crater is a recurring sloping line that forms on the sides of craters during hot weather. In 2015, NASA announced that hydrated salts should be signs of running water on the surface, but later research suggested that RSLs may have been formed by dry runoff of atmospheric water or sand.
Olympus Mons is about 17 miles (27 km) high, which is almost three times the height of Mount Everest. It is located in the Tharsis Volcanic Zone. Olympus Mons was formed by the eruption of lava, which then flowed over long distances before solidifying. In this way people will be able to climb this mountain.
There is another place on Mars which is discussed the most and its name is Medusae Fossae. According to some studies, this is a strange place, because the kind of figures made here, it is believed that there has been a presence of aliens here. However, later in a study it has been told that they are prepared naturally.
According to a study by the Curiosity rover in 2012, Gale Crater may have previously contained water. Within weeks of landing, the Curiosity rover discovered a stream. After this, during its journey, it found many evidences of water. Curiosity is now investigating a nearby volcano called Mount Sharp.
Noctis labyrinthus and 'ghost dunes' found in the Hellas Basin have been fascinated by scientists. According to the researchers, this area was a place with dunes tens of meters high. Later these were filled with lava or water, thereby preserving their bases, while their upper part disappeared.
